Big Timber Peak is a summit in the Crazy Mountains of south-central Montana, in the same range as the range's high point, Crazy Peak, and typically accessed from the same Big Timber Canyon trailhead area.
The Half Moon Campground trailhead, reached via Wormser Road and Big Timber Canyon Road off US Highway 191 north of the town of Big Timber, serves as the main access point into this part of the Crazy Mountains, including the Big Timber Creek drainage.
