The easy, non-technical way up the westernmost 12,000-foot peak in the Beartooths, climbing gentle slopes above the Aero Lakes.
Access is from the Cooke City side via the Lulu Pass Road, following the trail system into the Aero Lakes basin (the same general approach used for West Granite Peak and Mount Villard). From Upper Aero Lake, the route rounds the lake's north shore and continues north on talus or snow, aiming for Glacier Peak's gentle south slopes and climbing about 2,200 feet directly to the summit over roughly two miles from the lake. The summit offers a dramatic view down the peak's north face, where the technical Beckey Couloir and the Hidden Glacier lie in stark contrast to the easy south side.
