This "Granite Peak" sits in the Tobacco Root Mountains area of southwest Montana, close to Hollowtop Mountain, and should not be confused with Montana's 12,799-foot state highpoint of the same name in the Beartooth Mountains, roughly 90 miles to the southeast. No published route description was found for this lower, same-named peak.
