A White Knob Mountains 11er with an unusually broad, flat summit plateau -- possibly the broadest of any 11,000-foot peak in Idaho.
Approached from the west (Corral Creek Road) or as part of a traverse with neighboring Shelly, Redbird, and Cabin Mountain. From the west or south, the mountain rises gradually to its summit plateau, whose highest point sits at the northeastern tip; the north and east faces, by contrast, are quite precipitous.
