The standard route on Little Tahoma, a prominent, loose-rock sub-peak of Mount Rainier and the third-highest point in Washington. Ascends from the east via Summerland and Meany Crest, crossing the Fryingpan and Whitman Glaciers before a short rock scramble to the summit.
From the Fryingpan Creek Trailhead (~3,900 ft), follow the Wonderland Trail roughly 4 mi to Summerland (5,800 ft), then leave the trail to scramble up to a camp on Meany Crest (7,573 ft).
Descend the climbing route. The final rock scramble section is loose and exposed and requires particular care on the way down.
