A less-visited Pasayten summit near Mount Lago, typically added to a broader traverse of the area's central peaks.
Approach as for Mount Lago and Mount Carru: drive to the Slate Pass Trailhead and follow the Robinson Creek/Middle Fork Pasayten trail network to a high camp in the area (Fred's Lake, Lake Doris, or the Shellrock Pass bench are common options). From camp, approach Monument Peak's south side and scramble to the summit on Class 3 terrain.
Descend the south route back to camp.
