Mount Evans is the second-highest summit in the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness of southwest Montana, a striking, multicolored peak rising from Sullivan Ridge in the upper Big Hole Valley.
From the junction of Highway 1 and Highway 569 east of Anaconda, head south on Highway 569 toward Wisdom. About 19 miles from the junction, turn onto Seymour Creek Road (FR-934), which is unsigned until about a quarter mile in. Follow it just under 7 miles to its end at the Seymour Creek Trail (Trail 131) trailhead.
