The high point of the vast Hellroaring Plateau, and one of the very few Beartooth 12ers that is a realistic day hike.
From the Hellroaring Plateau Trailhead, reached via the rough Hellroaring Road (passable to the upper plateau trailhead in a high-clearance vehicle), the route uses the Rock Creek approach to easy grassy slopes near a 9,850-foot tarn. From there it's a straightforward walk northeast onto the flat Hellroaring Plateau: first to Point 10,670, then across a series of grassy benches at roughly 11,100 feet for just over a mile, before a final 0.8-mile climb up large talus blocks to the summit, passing above scenic Sliderock Lake.
