A true mountaineer's peak in the remote Goose Lake area, with one of the larger glaciers in the range on its flank and big granite walls on its north and east faces.
Access is from the Goose Lake area near Cooke City (the Lulu Pass Road / Goose Lake jeep trail, the same general access used for Granite Peak's Southwest Couloir). The foot approach is over 10 miles, shortened to roughly 4 miles for parties with a vehicle capable of the very rugged jeep road toward Goose Lake itself. The exact line to the summit was not fully detailed in the source found, beyond that the easiest route involves scrambling and likely moderate-to-steep snow.
